I made these peanut butter chocolate chunk cookies a couple of weeks ago based on this recipe. I was a little low on the peanut butter, so they were a bit dry and perhaps a little less peanut-buttery than normal and lacking an electric hand mixer, I used my pastry knife to combine the ingredients and ended up with the nubbly texture you see in the picture - not really what Martha’s look like, but whatever! They were yummy anyway.
Also, in recent adventures in cooking, I roasted a London Broil for the first time. Insanely easy! I threw some cracked pepper, sea salt, and dried rosemary on each side then put the hunk of meat in a ziploc bag with a bunch of olive oil and let it sit overnight. The next day I broiled the meat on high in a disposable oven tray for about ten minutes on each side and it was perfect. I’ll definitely pull that out again when I need to impress someone. No picture, but trust me it was delicious.
